Happy Birthday Don the Beachcomber

Don the Beachcombers birthday is today.  So celebrate the 103rd birthday of the inventor of the tiki bar and enjoy a zombie, or one of his other many wonderful tasty contributions to tiki.


P.S.  If you live near a Don the Beachcombers I understand that you can get half price Mai Tais and Donga Punches all day today.

I thought I would bump this because Tuesday was Don's birthday and I just realized the father my country (George Washington) and the inventor of the tiki bar (Don the Beachcomber) both were born on the same day.

If all this was not enough.  The man who was the inspiration for Tiki Bar TV episode #1 has declared that today is "National Margarita Day".  Enjoy!
