Query:

I'm pretty sure I asked this question while some of us enjoyed cocktails at Don's over the 4th of July weekend... for some reason I can't recall any of your answers. So I'm going to ask this question again...

If you were going to introduce someone to the Tiki Bar (and could only show them one episode) which episode would you select?

Now to append the original question if the person was from... lets say, Europe, would that alter your selection? You know, maybe selecting an episode that mocks the French instead of your original choice.

Thoughts?

When trying to show folks what Tiki Bar Tv is all about, I always show them the Volcano episode. When I see them smile I know they are worthy of my friendship. When they look at me like the RCA dog, I know they are supporters of AlQaeda.

BTW Molson, I'm sure when the girls said suits, they meant the bathing style! ;)

Ha! And for the record I apply the same rules... I can not maintain a friendship with anyone that does not get the humor. It's been a reliable litmus test for years and I stand by it's proven results!

Okay, the real reason I asked this question was due to a situation I found myself in last Thursday evening. A dear friend was visiting from Switzerland and I knew I was going to spring a couple of episodes on him after dinner but I found myself really stuck on which episodes to select. Now in this case I know him really well and we share the same tastes in music, movies, books and such. I eventually selected "Legal Ease" and he was laughing within the first 30 seconds. It's a much more difficult choice if you are showing an episode to someone that you have no history with... kind of a "sot" in the dark... if you get my meaning.

No. Actually, we're talking the 3 piece kind. Ones with ties... they come in handy ;)
