Show off your Tiki!

I've gotten a bit inspired recently and decided to update our front porch area (the veranda). We live in an apartment so nothing can be changed permanently so I just added a few touches, but I'm very proud. So I thought maybe you could show off your tiki decor that you may have around you as well. So here is the little touches we put up, enjoy!

One of my housemates and I are actually in the proces of tikifying our yard. We have a pagola thing right up the back I'm transforming into a tikibar. The photographic journey will be documented for all to see, but we've only just started, so I won't post anything just yet..

Well you keep making us try to figure out what these photo things are and really while I'm drinking it could look like anything. So what do you want any way?

I think this is a GREAT idea! the other topic with the skirts was BAD as it NOT dignified this on the other hand is great, as a guy will always have no problem with showing a lady his Tiki! The small yard looks pretty neat & you seem to have done quite a bit, but it is subltle & looking closely at the flowerpots is key....Ill get some current pics of my yard, which is kind of hard to evaluate Tiki wise but is kind of big on Dense Vegitation & big trees, yet not near a beach.

We can't make anything too over the top either because it has to change every once in awhile for Halloween. The tropical feel doesn't work well for the western theme for this year.

Careful! I would like it to be "postable". So you may have to be creative in showing off your tiki.

What a fun thread, Bloodyanne! Love the tiki planters you have on your adorable veranda :)

I'm working on plans for a backyard tiki retreat... first thing will be bamboo fencing for a little more privacy ;)

Meanwhile, here's my living room...

i dont have anything tiki-fied YET

BUT, if we get the house we are attempting to buy, i have already planned out what the basement will look like when we eventually finish it! Tiki Themed bar FTW!
