The Loki-La Sunrise

Here's on I invented in chat on a Sunday afternoon (and was named by JJJENNNNN):

The Loki-la Sunrise
1 oz Spiced Rum
1 oz Gold Rum
2 oz "Breakfast Juice" (aka a blended orange-mango juice)
Splash of Limoncello
Juice of half a lime

Shake all ingredients and pour into large martini glass (or mug)
Then when JJJENNNNN bugs you that it's not a Sunrise, float a teaspoon of grenadine.

Oooh, sounds pretty! and Yummy! I love using Limoncello in cocktails. I may just give this one a try this weekend.

Yeah, then hate the grenadine at the bottom because the bottle has been around since Jesus :P

I think Jesus looked at this bottle and went "Yeesh! How long has this been open?"

Grenadine is meant to ferment for ages. Right?

I'm kind of "meh" on grenadine. Too many Shirley Temples as a kid, I guess. What if you used something else red to make the sunrise part, like, say, the blood of your enemies?

Could be it would be better (grenadine) if it really WAS grenadine (pomagranite juice), instead of corn syrup. Blood of your enemies would work just as well, it it was also corn syrup.

The key is HEAVY, as well as red. The SG of the grenadine (corn syrup) causes it to sink to the bottom. Blood with mercury poisoning, perhaps?
