Tiki Bar TV fans and fans of tiki! Head to a tiki bar with some Aussies in San Francisco area!
Hey guys!
Just wondering if anyone in the San Francisco area wants to join some Aussies (4 of us) and head to a tiki bar of some sort. I'm a game developer (we're the ones doing the Tiki Bar TV game) and my team and I will be heading to San Francisco for a conference in June - if anyone would like to head to a tiki bar, or something similar, with us (there's about 4 of us) on the 14th, 16th, 20th, 21st, 22nd or 23rd of June (phew, sorry about the list).

You must make it across the bay to Forbidden Island in Alameda! It is the best tiki bar in the Bay Area! It is about a 30-minute bus ride from downtown SF. I live near it, so I'd be happy to meet up with you guys. Wednesday nights and Sunday afternoons are the best times to go. Let me know and I can give you directions to get there and set up a time to meet. Also ... I know a certain TBTV castmember who is often in the area these days might want to meet up with you as well.

Wish I could have made it to WWDC... or visiting my mom around then (I grew up in the Bay Area and go back every now and then).

The promise of a cocktail, and ticket for a plane up there, and I'm in! ;)
One of the best parts at WWDC is the last night you get on busses to go to Apple campus. If you have any intention of hitting the Apple store on campus (they have shirts and mugs and stuff that no other Apple store has) be sure to get on one of the first busses and be sure to get in line right away for the store. It takes forever to get in and they turn people away after a while... and don't miss the busses back, it's about an hour drive from SF! ;)
Here was the line to see the keynote (I'd recommend getting there early too):

Paris, you have to remember you are a day ahead of us here in the States, so for us, the 14th is Sunday. :P
